My name is Mark, and by nature, I'm a problem solver. Whether it's "Dad, can you help me figure this out?" Or... "Mr. Honnell, I want to buy a home and need a home loan, can you help me figure this out?" Or... "Mr. Honnell, it's been a long time since I've refinanced my home, I think I have a lot of equity, I want to take some cash out and at the same time, capture a lower interest rate, can you help me?"
In many ways, I've become the answer man or problem solver, for a lot of people. I've always enjoyed putting the puzzle pieces of a problem together to get a desired outcome. Answers to problems and solutions that work, it's what people seek every day and it's something I'm very good at providing.
I grew up in Santa Barbara California and in 1979, we moved to Coeur d'Alene Idaho, I was about 17 years of age at the time. In February of 2015 we moved to Nashville from Coeur d'Alene, we had been there for 30+ years. As a young boy, I was captivated by the wonderful book stories of Mark Twain (Adventures of Huckleberry Finn) and the theater movies about the South (Disney's Song of the South). And the southern homes, they were in the movies! As life's twists and turns would have it, I now live in the very place of my childhood dreams. The South is everything I thought it would be...friendly people, beautiful countrysides and the most beautiful homes I've ever seen.
In my downtime, I enjoy my backyard, do a little fishing, and reconnect with a slower pace of life...like Mark Twain would have it. Because during the week and even some weekends, it feels like I'm moving along at a hundred miles an hour. Slowing down is good...
